I’m just gonna post this because the ~SECRET PROJECT~ and CTcon prep are kind of taking up the majority of my drawing time right now and I don’t know when I’ll get back to this AU SOOOOO

Gamzee never left on his own journey; instead, he goes out and explores the woods with Tavros that are close to their hometown. He sort of just sits there and communes with nature while Tav does research and stuff. But they are ~best friends~ and someday maybe the two of them will head out together towards bigger and better things blah blah blah

He didn’t have any of his own Pokemon for the longest time. His first team member was Mime Jr., which he got from Tav as a gift after he sort of just bonded with the little clowny dude. Eventually he got Spinda, who confusedly tumbled into town and got separated from its pack. Gamz thought he was pretty chill so he decided to keep him. Then Mawile was an accidental capture of sorts. It was wreaking havoc out in a cave in the woods near their hometown and charged after them, and he sort of caught it without thinking. It’s kind of violent and tends to bite people a lot and doesn’t really listen to Gamzee.
